Mia serves as an Outreach Assistant for the Eastern Region of the USGLC. Prior to joining, Mia interned in the Washington, D.C. Office of Congressman Ami Bera (CA-07). She also interned at the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. She is a recent graduate from the Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy with a focus on Identity and Social Justice and a minor in Dance and American Culture. Mia also spent a semester abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark where she took courses on International Humanitarian Law and Armed Conflict, Criminology in Scandinavia, Democracies at Risk in Europe, and Migrants and Minorities in Denmark. After growing up in Los Angeles and spending four years in the Midwest, Mia is thrilled to be back in the Nation’s Capital and working at USGLC.
