Sierra serves as the Government Relations Assistant of the USGLC. Prior to joining, she interned in the office of Representative Veronica Escobar of Texas and Chicago nonprofit Forging Opportunities for Refugees in America (FORA). Sierra is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago, where she earned her bachelor’s in political science, as well as minors in religious studies and multimedia journalism, and spent a semester in DC studying political advocacy and communications. Originally from Austin, Texas, Sierra is thrilled to be back in Washington, DC and working with the USGLC.
