USGLC

Josh joins USGLC from the Department of State, where he served as Senior Advisor and Speechwriter to Acting Deputy Secretary Victoria Nuland and Under Secretary John Bass—managing strategic communications to articulate and amplify the Department’s global efforts to advance the security, prosperity, and values of the American people. Earlier, Josh served for more than a decade in policymaking circles at the Department of Defense and on Capitol Hill, including as Chief of Staff for Congresswoman Lois Frankel, and as the Middle East Subcommittee Staff Director under Congressman Ted Deutch. Josh holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree from the Harvard Kennedy School. A native Michigander, Josh and his wife, Kelly, now live with their son in Washington, DC.
