WASHINGTON, DC – The U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) today announced Jim Richardson as the new National Outreach Director, a key role leading the Coalition’s strategic outreach with stakeholders across the country.
Richardson joins USGLC after serving as the Executive Director for the Office of the 70th Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo. Previously, he served as Director of the Office of Foreign Assistance, coordinating $35 billion in assistance across the Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development, and head of the Policy, Planning, and Learning Bureau, where he led the development and implementation of Administrator Mark Green’s reform agenda. He is also a former Chief of Staff and held senior legislative roles on Capitol Hill with members on key committees, including the House Appropriations Committee and Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
“USGLC is thrilled to have Jim’s talent, experience, and skill on our senior leadership team as our new National Outreach Director,” said USGLC President and CEO Liz Schrayer. “Jim brings a rare combination of firsthand expertise managing U.S. foreign assistance in the first Trump Administration, serving on Capitol Hill as a Chief of Staff, and earning deep respect across the political aisle. His experience and credibility will enhance our efforts to grow and strengthen USGLC’s nationwide coalition of military, nonprofit, business, farmer, and faith leaders who recognize that smart, strategic investments in international assistance and diplomacy can make the world better and America stronger.”
