Jolan serves as the Senior Manger for Veterans Outreach of the USGLC. Previously, Jolan worked at the Office of Governor John Bel Edwards of Louisiana, where he served in various roles, including Assistant Director of Disability Affairs, Community Specialist, and Project Coordinator. During that time, Jolan helped establish Louisiana as a model employer for individuals with disabilities, spearheaded the 2020 Louisiana Census effort, and led the effort to expand the Dolly Parton Imagination Library statewide to increase early childhood literacy rates. Jolan currently serves as an Air Force officer with the Louisiana Air National Guard 159th Fighter Wing. Jolan has also served as a Field Organizer for U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu and a board member for the Greater Southwest Louisiana Black Chamber of Commerce. A native of Lafayette, Louisiana, Jolan attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in History.
