Jeremy leads Alight’s government affairs efforts, connecting the organizations’ staff, volunteers, and customers to legislators, policy makers, decision makers, and influencers. Prior to joining Alight, Jeremy served in the Obama Administration from 2013 – 2017 at the Peace Corps. He held several positions, including as the agency’s Associate Director for External Affairs leading the agency’s communications, congressional, intergovernmental affairs, and private sector engagement efforts. While there, he co – designed and led the interagency and external strategy that resulted in the highest funding level in agency history. He also spent eight years as a staff member on Capitol Hill in the office of former Congressman Russ Carnahan, as well as three years as the staff director for the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on International Organizations, Human Rights, and Oversight.
