USGLC

Nissa joins the USGLC after working in various communications roles, most recently serving as Acting Communications Director for Congresswoman Barbara Lee of California. Prior to joining Congresswoman Lee’s office, Nissa worked at the Sierra Club as Assistant Press Secretary for the Clean Transportation Campaign. A native of Berkeley, California, Nissa received her bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a focus on security studies from Tufts University.  While studying abroad, she explored multilateral institutions in Brussels and examined European Union expansion issues in the Balkans.
