Mylinda comes to USGLC from the Law Offices of David Sheldon, a boutique firm specializing in military law. While there, she took on a multifaceted role that included advocating for veterans and active duty service members, research, and serving as executive assistant to the firm’s CEO. Her professional tenure includes a research fellowship with Women’s Action for New Directions, where her work focused on global nonproliferation efforts. She has also worked with the National Defense University’s Center for National Security and Technology Policy, where she focused on sustainable technologies and their utility to the American military; the American Action Forum; and the National Women’s Political Caucus. Mylinda holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from the University of Oregon and a master’s in political science with an emphasis on international relations and security policy from West Virginia University.
