Halsey joins the USGLC after two years of managing digital projects for the nonprofit behind Earth Day. In that role, he worked with global leaders and NGOs to support climate change action, pollution reduction, and environmental education issues for the event’s one billion annual participants. Prior to his work for Earth Day, he served as the data manager for Senator Angus King’s 2018 re-election campaign and as a Senate committee policy intern. He earned his B.S. in environmental policy from the University of Vermont, lives in Washington, D.C., and was born and raised on the coast of Maine.
