WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) President and CEO, Liz Schrayer, released the following statement on the Administration’s announcement regarding AstraZeneca vaccine doses:
Today’s announcement is an important step for ensuring that access to COVID vaccines is both global and equitable – not only help those in need, but to protect the health and economic recovery of all Americans from the growing risk of new variants. The crisis in India should be a clarion call that much more will be needed from the U.S. and our allies to get this right – and fast.
