WASHINGTON – The President and CEO of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, Liz Schrayer, released the following statement on testimony in the Fiscal Year 2021 budget cycle:
It is always good governance to hold budget hearings between Congress and the Administration, but the truth is that while the COVID-19 pandemic has upended the current environment, it is even more important that regular order continues. We urge the State Department and Congress to find a path forward for budget hearings on FY21 as soon as possible.
