From Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine to acute global hunger to the largest refugee crisis since World War II to a global pandemic – America is facing threats of unprecedented scope and scale that directly impact the health, security, and economic interests of every American family.

As Congress considers international affairs funding needs to address a multitude of threats – including a new emergency supplemental and FY23 appropriations bills – this is a critical moment to ensure lawmakers know we are counting on them to protect and strengthen America’s civilian development and diplomacy tools.

We will prioritize meetings with Congressional leadership and key budget, authorizing, and appropriations offices.
