VIDEO: Land O’Lakes International Development & USAID in the Fight Against Global Hunger

Each night, more than 800 million people around the world go to bed hungry. But the fight against global hunger is building momentum, and game-changing partnerships are empowering farmers in the developing world to feed their families and boost their local economies.

Check out the USGLC’s new Global Impact Project video, highlighting how Land O’Lakes International Development is partnering with USAID to transform the fight against global hunger—one farmer at a time.

“As Americans, we’ve always taken an active role in giving others a hand-up versus and hand-out, and that’s what this is all about.”

For Dan Siemers, a Member-Owner of Land O’Lakes, Inc., part of the solution lies on his farm in America’s heartland. Dan has welcomed farmers from across the world to Wisconsin to teach them new and innovative techniques that he and the American farming community have developed over the past century.

In partnership with USAID’s Feed the Future, USDA and others, Land O’Lakes International Development is helping to bring food security and agricultural development to 13 countries, impacting close to 300,000 people each year.
