Pennsylvanians understand how a strong International Affairs Budget is vital to the state, and the USGLC is actively engaged across Pennsylvania. USGLC members have hosted meetings with members of the Pennsylvania Congressional delegation and members of presidential campaigns.

  • Trade supported 1.6 million jobs in Pennsylvania in 2008, or 21.5% of total jobs, up from 10% in 1992.
  • More than one-sixth (17.9%) of all manufacturing workers in Pennsylvania depended on exports for their jobs.
  • In 2008, more than 260,000 people in Pennsylvania were employed by U.S. affiliates of companies that are at least 50% foreign-owned.
