Philip Huppe, Deputy Director of Development

Phil serves as the Deputy Director of Development of the USGLC. He brings over a decade of experience in fundraising, strategic partnerships, staff management and nonprofit leadership. Throughout his career, Phil has focused on disaster response, international development, and humanitarian assistance, driven by a deep passion for supporting vulnerable populations around the globe. Phil has held leadership roles at Convoy of Hope and Mercy Chefs, where he developed and executed fundraising strategies and cultivated donor relationships. His work has significantly contributed to the growth of each organization and enhanced their ability to serve communities in need. Phil holds a Master’s in Public Policy, with a concentration in International Development, from Harvard’s Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis. He resides in Reston, VA with his wife and their three children.
