Lee Satterfield is President Biden’s nominee for Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs.

Ms. Satterfield rejoins the State Department after having previously served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Professional and Cultural Exchanges and as Acting Assistant Secretary for Educational and Cultural Affairs during the Obama Administration.
