The U.S. Global Leadership Coalition is seeking an energetic Development Assistant to support our Development Team. The Assistant will support the organization’s fundraising efforts with a focus on donor records management and reporting, donor research and fundraising. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, communication skills and be committed to building and cultivating meaningful external and internal relationships. This position is based in Washington, D.C and USGLC has a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Donor Records Management and Reporting (30%)
Donor and Prospect Research (30%)
Fundraising (30%)
Donor Stewardship (10%)
Position Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have minimum of a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent amount of experience in a similar function in lieu of educational qualifications. The position requires 2 years of experience working in fundraising or business development, attention to detail, data analysis experience, and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities. Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required. Understanding of CRM databases as well as electronic collaboration tools – Zoom, MS Teams, Google sheets etc. Knowledge of and passion for the organization’s mission is preferred.
