Forums Will Feature a Who’s Who of Foreign Policy and National Security Experts Examining How Each Nominee’s Presidency Would Address Global Challenges

Who & What: The Center for U.S. Global Engagement will sponsor high-level foreign policy events at both national party conventions featuring the nominees’ top foreign policy surrogates and advisers. Hear first-hand from key advisors of both campaigns about their candidate’s vision of America’s role in the world and how their Administration will tackle global challenges and opportunities.

The Center’s Democratic National Convention event, “Building a Better, Safer World: What Would an Obama Presidency Do?” will be held as part of the National Democratic Institute’s International Leaders Forum.

The Center’s Republican National Convention event, “Building a Better, Safer World: What Would a McCain Presidency Do?” will be held in partnership with the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs as part of their “America’s Future: Conversations about Politics and Policy during the 2008 Republican National Convention” program.

Both events will be webcast live at www.usglobalengagement.org.
