State Action: North Dakota

The USGLC has a strong presence in North Dakota, where the international affairs budget is vital to the local economy. From 1992 to 2006 the number of jobs in North Dakota dependent on international trade nearly doubled to almost almost 20%. Join the USGLC in helping build a more prosperous and safer North Dakota.

Despite being only 1% of the total Federal Budget, the International Affairs Budget includes programs that cover a breadth of U.S. State Department activities and other international efforts that promote global stability and provide for the security and well-being of all Americans. Read about the impact of the International Affairs Budget on North Dakota with our North Dakota State Fact Sheet.
