The Policy department tracks the development of U.S. foreign policy through research and interaction with officials in the Executive Branch, and educates the public on the importance of international development and diplomacy. The Policy department intern represents the USGLC at think tank events and monitors America’s development and diplomacy policy.

Responsibilities

  • Cover weekly events on foreign policy global development
  • Compile and summarize reports and articles for the policy team’s Weekly Round Up
  • Support the policy team by conducting research and maintaining databases

Skills

A strong candidate will understand how foreign policy is formed from previous policy experience and be passionate about America’s role in global events.
