USGLC Launches New Global Report on High-Impact Public-Private Partnerships

Report features case studies on leading global development initiatives from Chevron, Land O’Lakes, Pfizer, America’s Electric Cooperatives, and many more

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, released its inaugural Global Impact Project Report, featuring stories of American businesses, NGOs, foundations, and universities partnering with the U.S. government to tackle some of the world’s toughest global challenges.

“This is not your grandfather’s foreign aid anymore. A decade ago, foreign assistance was seen as a hand out – but today, American businesses and NGOs are working with the U.S. government to transform the way these programs deliver a hand-up,” says Liz Schrayer, President and CEO of the USGLC.

“We are proud to tell the stories of these public-private partnerships and how they are leveraging their expertise, creating impact, driving change, and making a world of difference – whether it’s making billions of liters of dirty water safe to drink or preventing blindness for millions of people.”

With nearly 90 percent of financial flows to the developing world coming from private sources, America’s international affairs programs are leveraging public funds and catalyzing private sector resources to solve pressing global challenges from global health to agriculture to energy.
