State Action: South Carolina

The USGLC is very active in South Carolina.  USGLC members have hosted meetings with members of the South Carolina Congressional delegation in addition to hosting events with members of the 2008 presidential campaigns.  South Carolinains understand how a strong International Affairs Budget is vital to the state.  In 2008, South Carolina exported goods to 119 foreign markets creating revenue of nearly $20 billion for the state.   Join the USGLC in helping build a more prosperous and safer South Carolina.

USGLC in Action in South Carolina

Impact ‘08 in South Carolina launched at the University of South Carolina on January 17th.   Admiral Edmund P. Giambastiani, General Michael W. Hagee and South Carolina resident Major General James E. Livingston joined with more than 300 South Carolina leaders from both major parties in challenging all of the presidential candidates to elevate and strengthen America’s investments in non-military tools of global engagement to build a better, safer America and world. Business, civic, political, faith-based, and academic leaders from across South Carolina  joined together to during the 2008 Presidential election to create Impact ‘08 in South Carolina.
