USGLC in Nevada in Action
On January 9, 2008 the USGLC and its state partners, the Nevada Committee on Foreign Relations and World Market Center, joined more than 400 Nevada business, civic, political, academic and faith leaders in launchong Impact ’08 in Nevada: Building a Better, Safer World, a campaign urging the Presidential candidates to elevate and strengthen America’s non-military tools for global engagement. The event included remarks by former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge and panel discussion involcing former Governor Richard Bryan and Starbuck Senior Vice President Sandara Taylor moderated by Andrea Koppell.
Update: Rep. Dina Titus (D-NV) and Rep. Shelley Berkley (D-NV) have signed onto the FY11 Letter.
