However, the most enlightening portion of the interview came when Mr. Policinski described how businesses benefit from U.S. global engagement. He explained that international development and diplomacy help strengthen economies around the world, which “means new markets are available for American goods.” Mr. Policinski believes that “feeding a hungry world is both an obligation and an opportunity” and he stressed the significant role the International Affairs Budget plays in leading America forward in these efforts.
