Mike Casella oversees USAID’s Office of Budget and Resource Management which is responsible for executing USAID’s development and humanitarian assistance budget, ensuring that the budget is supporting the agencies strategic priorities. He became the first Director of Budget and Resource Management when the office was created in September 2010. Prior to this position, Casella served as USAID Director Shah’s Senior Advisor for Budget. Casella came to USAID after serving as Branch Chief for International Economic Affairs at the White House’s Office of Management and Budget. Before serving in that position, Casella was the acting Vice President for Administration and Finance at the Millennium Challenge Corporation. As of 7/25/11
