Suzanne Heinen was appointed Acting Administrator of the Foreign Agricultural Service, after having served several months as the agency’s Associate Administrator and General Sales Manager. The Foreign Agricultural Service increases export opportunities for U.S. agriculture and enhances global food security. Prior to that, she worked on food security issues in the Office of the Secretary and as Minister-Counselor for Agriculture at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations Agencies for Food and Agriculture in Rome, Italy.
