General Ham will play a vital role in ensuring that AFRICOM successfully integrates a smart power approach into its strategic objectives and operations. General Ham has served extensively both domestically and abroad with assignments in Kentucky, Ohio, California, Georgia, Italy, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Macedonia, and Iraq.
