Secretary Clinton leaves on a three-nation trip to Asia today, highlighting commercial diplomacy and the importance of U.S. market access and job creation.  She starts off in Japan for a day of meetings with government officials with likely discussions on the U.S. base in Okinawa.  She then moves on to China for a stop at the  2010 Shanghai Expo and the U.S. Pavilion there.  The bulk of her trip will be spent in Beijing with Secretary of Treasury Tim Geithner and over a dozen other U.S. agency heads for the second joint meeting of the U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue.  She wraps up her trip May 26th in the Republic of Korea, where she will discuss regional stability and other issues with officials in Seoul.
