Fresh off his town hall presentation last week on his approach to “high-impact development,” USAID Administrator Rajiv Shah is packing for Africa . The six-day trip will include stops in Kenya and Sudan, where he will focus on progress of the Administration’s Global Health Initiative and Food Security Initiative. In Juba, Sudan, he will launch a new five-year, $55 million Food, Agribusiness, and Rural Markets (FARM) program and meet with government officials. Throughout the trip, Dr. Shah will be posting his thoughts and impressions on USAID’s new Impact blog, http://blog.usaid.gov.
