On December 7, 2009, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke to more than 1,000 development community leaders, business executives, faith-based organizers and foreign policymakers. The event underscored the depth of commitment to U.S. global engagement emanating from a wide range of supporters as the USGLC came together to honor Secretary Clinton for her extraordinary leadership throughout a distinguished career.
