Deputy Director of Peace Corps

Carrie Hessler Radelet was nominated to serve as Deputy Director of the Peace Corps. She has worked in the international public health field for more than twenty years, specializing in HIV/AIDS and maternal and child health.  She was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Western Samoa, has  worked with USAID as a Johns Hopkins Fellow in Indonesia, and most recently held the position of Director of the Washington, DC Office for John Snow, Inc. As of 12/22/09
