The Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator oversees the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), and is broadly responsible for U.S. efforts to combat HIV/AIDS around the world. Eric Goosby, Coordinator and ambassador-at-large, has been involved in anti-AIDS work in the U.S. and abroad for many years, including as director of the White House National AIDS Policy Office under President Clinton, and Chief Medical Officer of Pangaea Global AIDS Foundation.
