Coordinator for Counterterrorism, Department of State: Daniel Benjamin
As the Coordinator for Counterterrorism, Daniel Benjamin helps the U.S. promote worldwide counterterrorism cooperation using diplomacy, economic power, intelligence, law enforcement and military. His office focuses on helping young and weaker democracies address terrorist threats and promote stability. Previously, Benjamin was a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution, a Senior Fellow in the International Security Program of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and held a position on the National Security Council staff.
