On Wednesday, September 3, 2008, the Center for U.S. Global Engagement sponsored a high-level foreign policy discussion, “Building a Better, Safer World: What Would a McCain Presidency Do?” during the Republican National Convention as part of the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs’ “America’s Future: Conversations about Politics and Policy” program. The forum offered senior foreign policy representatives from Senator McCain’s campaign an opportunity to discuss his vision of America’s role in the world and how his Administration would tackle global challenges and opportunities.
